Our luxurious Hungarian Goose Down duvets are crafted by a family-run, manufacturer in Hungary, renowned for quality goose down with gloriously large clusters. What’s more they take sustainability as seriously as their goose down, carrying both STeP and GRS accreditation for their manufacturing processes.
Pure & simple
The Goose Down in these Hungarian down duvets is washed in thermal water from an exclusive, certified spring. The 48° water opens up the loft of the down clusters more than if washed in cold water, which is typical of most down. The resulting fill power of 600-650cbi assures you of good quality down clusters that will recover well when cared for correctly which means high performance insulation to keep you warm at night.
Allergy friendly
Our Hungarian Goose Down duvets are a great choice for allergy sufferers. Because the Goose down is washed in naturally warm spring water, fewer chemicals are used. It is also considered super-clean or hypoallergenic due to excellent oxygen and turbidity ratings. What’s more, this duvet is cased in Nomite certified fabric, ideal for sleepers that suffer from a house dust mite allergy.

To make the most of this premium Hungarian goose down filling, the 3.0 and 4.5 tog contain their fill within stitched through boxes. The 9.0, 10.5 and 13.5 duvets are made with baffle walls to allow the down clusters to move and breathe. Both constructions result in an even profile across your bed.

Care properly for your duvet and it will recharge you for many years to come. Here is what you need to do in order to make the most out your Hungarian goose down duvet:

Protect your duvet

Use a duvet protector to protect from accidental spills and stains. Wash your protector frequently to keep your duvet fresh and clean.

Shake your duvet

A vigorous shake each morning will redistribute the filling for an even, plump feel.

Pull back the covers

Pull back the covers to air your bed whilst you’re getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner. It’s especially important with feather and down fills as moisture can make their natural odour more pronounced.

Wash at 30°C

Every 6-12 months will do the trick – why not clean your duvet with the change of season – then it’s ready for when you next need it. This duvet is NOT suitable for dry cleaning and must only be machine-washed. Store your duvet somewhere dry and away from dust. The bag your duvet came in is perfect for the job, or you could use one of our specially-made storage bags instead.

Dry as a bone

Protect your duvet and tumble-dry until completely dry. Even the smallest amount of moisture can damage the fill and cause the precious down clusters to clump. Moisture can also make the natural odour of feather and down more pronounced. That’s why we recommend a professional wash and dry for duvets.
