This pillow is made in Hungary, in the same factory as our Hungarian Goose down pillows. The pre-loved down and feather is painstakingly cleaned using naturally warm water from an exclusive, certified thermal spring, and then sterilised at 135°C without the use of chemicals before being carefully dried to revive the loft of each down cluster. Finally, it is sorted, ensuring only feathers and down which are the right size and quality are used to make these pillows.
Sustainably produced
Using recycled feather and down in this pillow is a practical solution that we love. It reduces the amount of material that goes into landfill, uses a fraction of the resources needed to rear birds for virgin feather and down and uses less water and energy to process the feather and down itself.

Air before use

Feather and down pillows can have an odour when they first arrive in their packaging. Although this is normal, you shouldn’t experience any odour with this pillow. If you do, air for a couple of days before use. Our packaging is breathable to help prevent an odour building up. You can also be reassured that this pillow meets our cleanliness standard.

Protect your pillow

Always use a pillow protector to protect from accidental spills and stains, washing your protector frequently to maintain a clean and fresh pillow.

Remember to plump

Keep your pillows looking and feeling their best with a shake and a plump every morning.

Pull back the covers

Pull back the covers to air your bed whilst you’re getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner and is especially important with feather and down fills as moisture can make their natural odour more pronounced.

Wash at 30°C

Every 6-12 months will do the trick – why not clean your pillows with the change of seasons – at the same time as you clean your duvet?

Dry as a bone

Protect your pillow and tumble-dry until completely dry. Even the smallest amount of moisture can damage the fill and cause uncomfortable clumping. It can also make the natural odour of feather and down more pronounced. That’s why we recommend a professional wash and dry for pillows.
