Wash regularly

Keep this robe at its best by washing it carefully. You can wash it by hand or use the delicate setting on your washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30°C.

Hang to dry

Do your bit for our planet and dry your nightwear by hanging it out. It will dry best on an outside washing line away from direct sunlight. Never tumble dry this precious fabric.

Iron if you like

Whether you iron your nightwear or not is up to you but if you prefer to iron your silk robe, we’d recommend using the coolest silk setting on your iron. Never iron this nightwear while damp as you will damage the fabric.

Check your detergent

Use only a silk-specific detergent for this special robe.

Extra careful

Never use biological detergent, bleaches, stain removers or optical brighteners as they will damage the fabric and colour over time. It’s not just detergents that can affect your robe; some creams and facewashes contain chemicals that will bleach your bathrobe, such as benzoyl peroxide. Suncream, bronzers and self-tan lotions can also stain your robe; having a shower to remove skin products will help your precious robe stay looking good for longer.
