Features & Facts
-
Luxurious silk
Our pure silk duvet is filled with 100% Tussah silk. Tussah silk is sourced from silk worms that feed on Mongolian Oak leaves before transforming into moths. Their empty cocoons are then placed in warm water to gently open up, before being unravelled into fine, lustrous Tussah silk fibres. -
Natural temperature regulation
Filled with and cased in 100% natural fibres, the breathable, moisture-wicking properties of silk make this pure silk duvet especially good at helping with temperature regulation. It is especially helpful to those who struggle with hot flushes and overheating at night. -
Allergy friendly
Silk is a luxurious option for allergy sufferers because it is naturally hypoallergenic and machine-washable. -
Quality guaranteed
This pure silk duvet has been made and tested to make sure it’s up to both Soak&Sleep and EN standards.

Look & Feel
- The perfect temperature
Use the supplied ties to pair this duvet with another to create your personalised all-season duvet. The choice of warmths in this range of silk duvets ranges from summer to winter warmth.
- A reassuring weight
A silk duvet feels denser and heavier than you might expect, making it a lovely choice if you prefer a weightier duvet. This duvet almost melts over your body as it covers you.
- Pure cotton casing
This delightful duvet is wrapped up in a 300 thread count pure cotton satin weave cover. The cotton complements the silk and helps the luxurious drape you’ll experience with this duvet.
- Made to last
The Tussah silk filling is stitched into place between the soft cotton outer case and then finished with a bound hem edging for durability.
Care
Not all duvets are created the same therefore, based in their inner and outer characteristics, they need to be cared for differently. Care properly for your duvet and it will recharge you for many years to come. Here is what you need to do in order to make the most out your Silk duvet:
- 1
Protect your duvet
Use a duvet protector to protect from accidental spills and stains. Wash your protector frequently to keep your duvet fresh and clean. - 2
Shake your duvet
A vigorous shake each morning will redistribute the filling for an even, plump feel. - 3
Pull back the covers
Pull back the covers to air your bed whilst you’re getting ready for the day. This helps excess moisture to evaporate so your bed stays fresher and cleaner. - 4
Wash at 30°C
Every 6-12 months will do the trick – why not clean your duvet with the change of season – then it’s ready for when you next need it. Store your duvet somewhere dry and away from dust. The bag your duvet came in is perfect for the job, or you could use one of our specially-made storage bags instead. - 5
Dry as a bone
Protect your duvet and air-dry until completely dry. The carded fill of this duvet is sewn in place but the smallest amount of moisture can damage the fill and cause the fill to clump. That’s why we recommend a professional wash and dry for duvets. - 6
Professional wash
A professional wash and dry is always best for large items; your duvet will love you for it.
